We took a tour of Mammoth Cave. It is the longest cave in the world, 393 miles long and they are still discovering more. We went on a two hour, two mile tour historical tour. We were over 300 feet underground. It was amazing. If you ever have a chance to see it we would suggest it. In some places you had to walk like a duck to make the through. Marcus and Caroline completed the Junior Ranger Program at the cave. They really enjoyed doing all of the assignments.
While we were at Diamond Caverns Campground we went hiking and biking. The biking was hard. It was mostly up hill on gravel. We visited the Corvette plant in Bowling Green. We took a tour of the plant. It was very interesting to see how Corvettes are made. My dad loved Corvettes. He worked for Chevrolet for 30 years and owned two during his life time. Marc and I owned one before we had children. During the tour they chose me out of the group to start a Corvette for the first time. We also visited Dinosaur World. They had a fossil dig, a museum and lots of life size dinosaurs and Cloe got to come too.Marcus and Caroline are writing reports on their favorite dinosaurs as part of their school work.
