St. Louis, Missouri

Our next stop was St. Louis.  It rained all the way there.  We stayed at the Campground at the Casino Queen right on the other side of the river in East St. Louis, Il.  We walked across the Eads Bridge (the one we saw in painting at the Capitol) to see the arch.  We saw a wonderful film on the Lewis and Clark Expedition put out by National Geographic.  If you ever have a chance be sure to see it.  Marcus, Caroline and Marc took the tram ride to the top of the arch.  It was an amazing experience.  We went to the St. Louis Zoo.  We saw many different types of animals and habitats. While we were in St. Louis, the area had a tornado warning something we are not accustomed to.  We spent the evening watching the weather channel and praying.  We were very thankful to have just had wind and rain.

Beautiful pictures. The twins are really growing up. I recently found their picture when they were very little
and all the pictures from all the holidays. Glad you missed the tornado.
