We traveled to the hill country of Texas. We took a long curvy road thirteen miles up into the hills. We spent several days hiking, doing work and just living in the country. We camped at Lake Medina Thousand Trails Campground (part of one of our memberships.) The funny or not so funny thing is that the campground is not on a lake right now. The lake dried up in the last couple years do to the lack of rain. You can see the crater where the lake once was. I bet this is a great place to kayak when the lake has water. There were so many deer around. I mean hundreds. They ate Marc’s herb garden and were not afraid of Cloe. Marcus and Caroline spent their days doing school work and hiking on the trails. We did not move Great White for three days, but then it was time to head to San Antonio to pick up Grandma Red from the airport!
