Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Coconut Cookies

IMG_5482One night I couldn’t sleep so I went mom’s room.  She said to think of a soup recipe and if it was good we would make and she would eat it.  I answered, “soup, really how about cookies” so when I got in bed I asked,”can I turn my light on and can I write it down.”  I started  to write here is I wrote…

2 c flour

2 egg

1c sugar (we decide to do 1/2 brown sugar 1/2 sugar)

1/2 c milk

1 c oatmeal

1 c chocolate chips

1 c coconut

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 c peanut butter

1 tsp vanilla

1/4 c butter (which we decided to add later)

                                         1.preheat oven at  350 for 15 mins 2.mix dry ingredients 3. mix wet ingredients in a different bowl with peanut butter4.put and mix together 5.spoon onto cookie sheet 6. bake 8-10 mins

The  cookies were awesome.  I really think you will like them.  In the two days, none of us even looked at a cook-book.

    I am for sure going to try the cookie recipe, and Marcus, consider bacon bits instead of coconut, it is really a treat- the smoky salt with chocolate is AWESOME!
