Easter in California
The week leading up to Easter we visited Ventura for some fresh from the fields
and orchards strawberries and avacados.
Spring is a great time here for flowers and produce.
Caroline is learning to play the guitar and we played a challenging game of dominoes.
For the past few years we have gone to Aunt Krysta and Uncle Bill’s house in Oklahoma for Easter.
This year they have moved to Pasadena so we had Easter in California.
They helped us color Easter eggs.
Grammy Carol had sent Marcus and Caroline cute egg decorations.
Caroline made Easter baskets for her and Marcus out of paper grocery bags
while her dad, Marcus and Cloe relaxed.
Marcus and Caroline went to an Easter egg hunt at the campground.
They planted their jelly beans in our planter box and Easter morning they had grown into lollypops.
The Easter bunny came through and brought some goodies. We spent some time on
our Easter Sunday School lesson and had a yummy Easter dinner with Aunt Krysta and Uncle Bill.
Marcus had fun taking the dogs for a walk.
We were so happy to be able to spend time near Aunt Krysta and Uncle Bill
as they begin a new chapter of their lives.
