We spent a long time looking over at the water flowing. We saw dolphins playing under the bridge.
We rode to Fisherman’s Wharf and walked a few steep blocks to Lombard Street and walked down.
When we arrived back at the wharf we had a free ice cream cone at Ben & Jerry’s. It sure was good.
We toured the Eureka which was used as a ferry for passengers and autos.
We learned how to tie several kinds of knots.
We had a chance to walk on the deck of the Thayer, a three-masted schooner they were restoring.
Before the park closed we toured the Balcutha and learned about the three lives this cool boat had lived.
It was made to transport wheat to Europe,
We were sad to say goodbye to San Francisco and Grammy Red….until next time.
