Biking in Redding

The first day we headed out on our bikes, we biked to the Sundial Bridge.IMG_3713

Near the bridge was the Turtle Bay Museum.

(I just happened to be a reciprocal museum so we could get in with our pass.)

We learned about the fish and the animals in the area.

The beautiful paved trail ran along the Sacramento river.IMG_3920

On a another day we rode the other way to the Shasta Dam.IMG_3915

This area is truely a nature lovers paradise!

  1. Redding is great for all its trails. We spent 6 months there hosting at the Redding RV Park,
Sept-March, but we didn’t bicycle nearly what you did. Your family knows how to have a good time! That is a beautiful place your family has there too. Enjoy the Oregon Coast!

    • I had read in your blog that you had been in Redding. My husband is very interested in learning more about your motorcycle trailer. We will be in Utah in June maybe we will meet.

Funny/small world..;) We hosted at Usery in Mesa and would be glad to fill you in on that experience. We were also at Lost Dutchman while they were searching for the hiker – must have missed you by a couple days there.
