Three of the things I truly miss about our life in New Jersey is our church http://fpcweb.org/, our friends and teaching at The Preschool Experience. http://thepreschoolexperience.com/ Miss Lisa’s daughter Danielle lives in Seattle, so we were anxious to be able to meet up with her. She was out of town when we arrived, but made arrangements for us to attend her church. http://www.belpres.org/ This church is beyond amazing. Danielle’s friends welcomed Marcus and Caroline to Sunday School while Marc and I attended an inspirational service. I wasn’t sure what my reaction would be to such a large church, but it was so welcoming and offered so many opportunities.
We looked forward to meeting Danielle down town for lunch. It was just perfect. The food was great and the conversation even better. Danielle really inspires us. She took us to the Olympic Sculpture Garden http://www.seattleartmuseum.org/visit/osp/ for our own personal tour. This outside sculpture garden has something for everyone. I think one of our favorite parts was seeing the nurse tree. It is a fallen tree, but it is not dead. It supports many plants and insects. We are so thankful to Danielle for sharing this with us.
Seattle really surprised us! We felt very comfortable there. We loved the biking, the amenities, the coffee and parking was no problem even for our big rig! We will back to visit again.
