A Weekend with Sue and Joe

When we were planning our trip from Redding, California to Key West, Florida Marc mapped several routes and asked the kids and I which one we thought was the best. We unanimously said the one that goes near Cheyenne.  My mom’s first cousin Sue and her husband Joe live there.  We visited them last year on their ranch and we excited at the prospect of stopping by again.  We all really enjoy each others company.  Marcus and Cali helped Joe with the chores and loved to ride the four-wheeler with him.  Joe helped with some electronic experiments we were doing for science.  Sue helped Caroline crochet and we made strawberry rhubarb cobbler.  Both kids love playing dress up and can’t get enough of their dog and cats.  I was so happy their daughter and her husband stopped by.  I hadn’t seen my cousin Cathy in more years than I would care to remember.  On Sunday they treated us to a delicious dinner out.  These two truly touch our hearts.
