After over two years with our current camper and truck, we have decided to look for a new home. Not a stationary home like some of you may think, but a new and different way to travel. Right now we couldn’t imagine giving up this freedom of travel. This freedom of working and educating where we want. We want Marcus and Caroline to be able to spend time with their grandparents, but living full time in Pennsylvania just isn’t for us. The best way for us to insure we can see our family more than just a few weeks a year is to live in a mobile home.
Now that we picked up our car from storage in Florida I will be following Marc. This is ok for a day or two, but we would really love to be able to all ride together and tow my car. Also, we are ready for something different…..a class A, a motor home, a bus. We found a few possibilities at Lazydays in Seffner, FL. They cordially invited us to stay at their campground for two nights while we looked at a few dozen campers. We found a nice clean one that we really liked and could see our family in. A 2001 Country Coach Affinity. Marc checked it over thoroughly. Bill and Krysta came over to check it out with us. We all took it for a ride. It was really beautiful, but had a few issues. The generator wouldn’t work and because of that there was no air conditioning and it didn’t have seat belts for the kids. Because of the age of the coach it was being sold as is so we would have to take care of any problems. After thinking it over, we just didn’t feel this was in our best interest. We will keep looking. Maybe we can find a bus that needs remodeling and we can customize it the way we want. I am certain when we find the right one God will let us know.
