This blog is my arena to write about the people and places we encounter. To share our experiences with family and friends. Family and friends we have known our whole lives and new friends we have met because of our life style. I feel so lucky to be able to share our lives with all of you.
For a few years now I have followed Family on Bikes.http://www.familyonbikes.org/ Nancy Sathre-Vogel with her husband and twin sons rode their bikes from Alaska to Argentina. Nancy and I met on Facebook and when she was writing her most recent book she was looking for roadschoolers to interview. I was happy to tell her about how we learn. Not just Marcus and Caroline, but how we all learn as a family. Our learning style has evolved over the past couple of years, but what it really comes down to is a love for new experiences and learning because of them.
Even though I would say we are seasoned roadschoolers, I couldn’t wait to read the book. I am honored to have my interview included with not only US Roadschoolers, but also global travelers. It reassured me that others feel as I do. Each of us teach in a way that is right for us and the learning is always evolving. You can find the book on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Roadschooling-Ultimate-Education-Through-Travel/dp/0983718741/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1407980973&sr=8-1&keywords=roadschooling I don’t receive an proceeds from it I just wanted to share Nancy’s inspirational book!
