It’s Been A While

I know it has been quite a while since our last post.  We have been in Northeastern Pennsylvania spending time with our family and friends.   When we left on this adventure we anticipated returning to a sticks and bricks home in a year…..well that isn’t what happened.  We decided to go through all of the possessions which we had packed away at my mom and Eddie’s.  We had a yard sale with my mom and her neighbors.  We sold and donated more than half of what we had stored.

Marc and I had a great time with my brother Bill and his wife Krysta in Pittsburgh.  Marcus and Cali enjoyed a few days with their grandparents and we had some fun grownup time.  I even was able to meet up with my friend Kelly and see one of my favorite bands The Clarks.  We walked over 20 miles in 3 days and truly enjoyed each others company.

Marcus and Cali had fun working in Grammy Carol’s garden and having a tea party.

They all had a great time at the dirt track races with both sets of grandparents.

With Grammy Red they visited a castle and made birdhouses.

Cali and Marcus had the opportunity to show their cousin Montana’s cows in the amateur competition at the Wyoming County Fair.  They were so excited to spend the whole day with Montana.  She is one special girl!

God blessed us with a fun rainy with our friends the Drapers.  Time always flies when we get together.

We spent time at Timothy Lake Thousand Trails.  It was so nice to meet up with some traveling friends and use the water park.

While we were in the Poconos we made a couple trips to Metuchen.  We honestly have some great friends there.  Marcus and Cali are truly blessed to have Nathaniel and Samantha (sorry I didn’t get a picture) as friends.  And we miss Mama and Papa Scott so much.

We spent a few days at Scotrun Thousand Trails.  We all enjoyed the basketball hoop circuit.

We met Murphy and enjoyed an afternoon with Sherry, Katie and Dave.

We have filled our days with Chemistry, Latin, writing and math and our free time with barbeques, hikes, tractors, baking, family and friends.  Life is good….No life is great!
