We have spent the last week at Gettysburg Farm, a Thousand Trail Campground in Dover, PA so Marcus and Cali could spend time with their cousins. This is one of our favorite Thousand Trails. During the week the kids were able to see their cousin a couple of evenings. We have been doing some hiking and biking too. On Friday, Grandma Red came down. She went biking with us. We rode about 14 miles and crossed the Mason Dixon Line into Delaware.
Grandmas rented a cabin here at the campground so she could spend some time with the kids. They had a sleep over and Lily and Izzy really enjoyed the farm animals.
On Saturday we went to Smyser Farm. They had a variety of activities. Marcus, Cali, Lily and Izzy shot pumpkins from a catapult, bowled with pumpkins, did a pumpkin roll and a corn maze. We all went on a hay ride.
Grammy Red took Cali ice skating on Sunday. It has been almost two years since Cali has skated, but she loved skating and her time alone with Grammy.
Marcus had a special day on Sunday too. He and his dad met Uncle Sean and Jake at the drag races. This was a first for Marcus and he had a great time. Thanks Sean and Jake for letting them join your yearly tradition.
