Griffith Observatory

We were exicted to visit The Griffth Obstervatory. We left the campground around 3 o’clock and drove over to The Califorian Resort campground to pick up Emma so that she could come with us. On our way we stopped at In-Out Burger. We arrived at the Observatory at 5 o’clock. We walked in and got tickets to go to a show called Centered in the Universe.  While we were waiting for the show we watched a demonstration of how the Tesla Coil works.  We also learned about a camera obscura. They both were really cool. Then we went to see the planetarium show.  It really felt like you were soaring in our solar system. After the show was over we went down to the basment. We got to hold a 4.5 billion year old metor. The oldest thing I will hold in my lifetime. In the basement you could weigh your self and see how much you way on other planets. On Pluto I weigh .5 pounds!!!! Once it got dark we went outside to look through the telescopes set up on the grass. Through one we saw Venus and throught the other we saw Juputer. We even saw 2 of Juputer’s moons. They looked like pinpricks. When we left at 8 people were still coming. On the way home Emma taught Marcus and I some French. By the time we arrived home all I wanted to do was sleep. I had a great time at the Griffith Observatory.
