Solvang is a town that was founded by Danish educators in 1911. They were trying to get away from the Midwestern winters and maintain their heritage. On our way to Solvang, I fell asleep. When I woke up it looked like a little Dutch town! We walked around the litttle town. In the midddle of our walk we came across a bakery. I had a delicious Duch pastry called a Danish Waffle and Marcus had a Cinnomon crisp. We completed our walk around town and went back to our car.
