Last night we stayed at Ye Old Mill Campground in the town of Burnt Cabins, PA. We hiked almost 3 1/2 miles in Cowans Gap State Park. It was a beautiful state park. We heard turkeys and saw woodpeckers. They can do a lot of damage to a tree. Now we are on the road headed to Tarentum, PA. We can’t wait to see Aunt Kelly!!

Where we are:
We will be at Gettysburg Farm Thousand Trails until the end of October. We will be spending the first week of September and the first week of October in Tunkhannock, PA.
At the beginning of November we will head west. We have accepted a volunteer position near Phoenix for December through the end of March.
My friends Abbott and Jenny are the proprietors of Tom Sawyer RV park, it’s a beautiful, homey spot and they work hard to make it that way. Sadly, flooding every other year or so makes it a constant battle in that they make improvements and then the river takes some of them away – a case of three steps forward and then one step back. Glad you enjoyed Memphis.
We loved Tom Sawyer RV park. We would definitely stay there again. It was beautiful in the spring.
